We cant believe our little Ruby has been with us a whole year. She is the light of our lives and becoming the most magical little human that ever was. We celebrated in style last weekend with some friends and family. Ruby is a total wildflower so that was my inspiration for her boho/wildflower themed party. Hope you enjoy this little visual blog. I've tagged all my sources.

A flower wall put together by my talented florist friend (LeFleur) and I. Foraged florals and a few supermarket packs achieved this look. The tape is from Kmart.

Everyone's fave part of the party, the snacks table, right? This is our dining room table pushed against one wall, the popcorn holder is from poprocparties I made the cake myself, just a box one! the topper is from Poppy and Chi the banner and other bits are from Kmart.

Of course photos are really important to us so I got a few quick images printed from Ru's first year and arranged them on the wall with BluTac

We also had a "sweet" table, everything here was bought from LookSharp party store.

We asked our guests to bring gifts that we could donate to an organisation Foster Hope which helps kids transitioning into foster care. They are given packs of health care products and toys. Ruby is so very lucky to have everything she needs and this was a really nice way to pass it on. The feeling of handing over a whole boot load of goods to kids who needed stuff way more then her was a really nice feeling. I urge anyone planning a party to consider doing this too.

Ruby's very own mini cake, I made using a box mix again, just used half the mixture in a little tin.

The birthday girl wore a romper made by my friend and shoes from Fawn & Finch

We are so proud of the little girl we made & are raising. This party was so much fun but next year we will go stress free and party it up at McDonalds I think!
